Mechanised Raise Drilling

Mechanised raise drilling incorporates the use of specialised mechanical equipment in the planned and accurate smooth-walled drilling of large span diameter boreholes. Raise drilling is typically aligned with underground infrastructure purposes with spans over 1.5 m in diameter.

Mechanised Boxhole Drilling

Mechanised boxhole drilling incorporates the use of specialised mechanical equipment for the purpose of safe and accurate boxhole drilling of medium sized boreholes. Boxhole drilling is typically aligned with the excavation of slot raises for stoping purposes and small infrastructure needs under 1.5 m in diameter.

Safe Drilling

With safety at the forefront of all our mining practices, we have adopted the safest options available for mechanised raise and boxhole drilling. Our drilling methods utilise no blasting and no entry methods, with limited personnel required to execute drilling practices from a safe location.
